The D'Addario NYXL0942 is a Super Light 09-42 nickel-wound string set designed for electric guitars. Its high-carbon steel core and unique plain steel alloy construction are engineered to improve resistance to breakage and provide greater tuning stability.

The Fusion Twist technology used in the NYXL Series provides up to 131% greater tuning stability, according to D'Addario. The nickel-plated wound strings support a bright and powerful tonal character, while the Super Light gauges provide increased flexibility for bends and fast passages.

The set consists of six strings ranging from .009 to .042 inches and comes in corrosion-resistant packaging designed to help keep the strings fresh.
