The Angel Lopez Sherry CE BK is a hybrid electric classical guitar combining classical guitar features with a modern body construction and onboard electronics. It features a flamed cedar top and chambered mahogany body, while the cutaway design provides improved access to the upper frets.
The guitar is built with a mahogany neck, laurel fingerboard and a 646 mm scale length. Its 48 mm nut width, 400 mm fingerboard radius and rounded fret ends complement its hybrid design. Bone is used for both the nut and saddle, while the bridge is made from laurel.
For amplified use, the Sherry CE BK features an under-saddle pickup with a 2-band EQ and bass, treble and volume controls. Savarez strings, Der Jung semi-closed classical machine heads and a high-gloss finish complete the instrument in its distinctive Translucent Black colour.
