The Meinl PADJ7-M-F is a 10-inch rope-tuned djembe from the Travel Series, featuring a fully synthetic construction. Its ultra-lightweight design makes it easy to carry to rehearsals, gigs, jam sessions and outdoor activities. The synthetic head and shell offer durability and resistance to changing weather conditions, making the drum particularly well suited to outdoor playing.
Its patented design features a 100% synthetic head capable of producing sharp slaps alongside deep bass tones. Tuning is handled by pre-stretched HTP (High Tensile Polymer) nylon ropes, designed to maintain consistent tension and reliable tuning throughout extended playing sessions and across varying climates.
With its 10-inch diameter, the PADJ7-M-F is up to 20% lighter than Meinl's fiberglass djembes. A non-slip rubber bottom provides additional stability while helping protect the drum from scratches. The distinctive Day Of The Dead finish completes the portable Travel Series design with an eye-catching visual character.
