Pirastro Tonica 900800 is a rosin specifically designed for use with Tonica strings. Its orange formulation provides good grip between the bow and strings, supporting controlled and precise playing.
When applied in a thin layer, Tonica rosin is designed to provide effective bow grip while helping minimise unwanted scratchy sounds. It complements the characteristics of Tonica strings and supports clear tone production, controlled bow response and balanced sound.
Pirastro develops its rosins according to the requirements of different string types. Tonica 900800 is formulated specifically to complement the performance of the Pirastro Tonica string series and is suitable for violin and viola applications.
