Zoom H8 Handy Recorder – 12-Track Portable Recording System
The Zoom H8 adapts to every recording scenario — from field sound design to studio music sessions and podcasts. With 12 simultaneous tracks, interchangeable capsules, and an app-driven touchscreen interface, it gives creators complete flexibility.
Three dedicated modes (Field, Music, Podcast) instantly customize the layout for your workflow. Four XLR mic inputs and two XLR/TRS combo jacks, plus the included XYH-6 capsule, provide eight input channels. Phantom power (+24 V / +48 V) supports professional condenser microphones.
The H8 records directly to SD/SDHC/SDXC cards (up to 512 GB) in 24-bit / 96 kHz WAV or MP3 formats. It also works as a 12-in / 2-out USB audio interface for PC/Mac/iPad. With over 10 hours of battery life on AA batteries, it’s perfect for long field sessions.
