The special NANOWEB coating helps protect the strings against sweat, humidity, corrosion, dirt and metal fatigue. According to the supplied product information, Elixir strings can offer a service life of up to three to five times longer than conventional strings.

The coated construction also helps minimize string noise caused by finger contact while playing. This Super Light set includes string gauges of .009, .011, .016, .024, .032 and .042 inches.
