The D'Addario XTE0942 is a Super Light 09-42 XT string set designed for 6-string electric guitars. Featuring nickel-plated steel winding, each string receives the XT Series' advanced corrosion-resistance treatment while retaining the natural tone and feel associated with uncoated strings.

High-carbon steel and Fusion Twist technology are designed to improve tuning stability and resistance to breakage. According to D'Addario, this construction provides 131% better tuning stability compared with traditional strings.
